As the owner of a design studio, I get to apply design principles to business problems on a regular basis. It’s not a new concept: strategy, research, brainstorming—all things that happen in businesses all over the world. But it’s easy to forget that the same processes that allow creative ideas to come to life can bring life to your business as well.

In my experience design blogs focus on the business of design, and business blogs focus on the business of business. Strong Elixir is a design blog geared towards business owners and entrepreneurs.

Why Strong Elixir?

The phrase came up during the research and branding of my design studio, Awful Cool Industries. It seemed appropriate for this blog, because design thinking is a strong elixir for the business world. It provides a framework for innovation and solid decision-making.
